Zheng Yan Handmade Collection

Zheng yan means "true cliff," the small core of the Wuyi reserve where the tea bushes grow in weathered rock and the plants stay under cliff shade most of the day. It is a few dozen square kilometres, and far more tea is sold as zhengyan than could possibly come out of it.

Everything in this collection is handmade Wuyi rock oolong from that core, charcoal roasted in small batches by makers whose skills have passed through 10 generations.
