A practical guide to choosing, tasting, brewing & enjoying tea.

Understanding Chinese Tea is a practical, beginner-friendly workshop built around the questions real tea drinkers often have. Through simple explanations, guided tasting and hands-on discussion, we will explore how tea type and origin affect taste, how to recognise quality, how to choose tea with confidence, and how to brew and enjoy it better in everyday life.

We will also cover practical topics such as tea wellness, loose leaf versus tea bags, multiple infusions, teaware, pricing and storage.

No prior knowledge is needed. Just come curious, ask questions, and enjoy discovering tea in a relaxed setting at San Yuan Tea House.
